    wow! that’s brave yonge&bloor at night?,yesterday i cycled to yonge and eglinton to see a friend and it was a nightmare,drivers don’t want you on the road and pedestrians treat you like you’re scum if you ride on the sidewalk,unless they put bike lanes on yonge street i would not jeopardise my life doing it as it stands right now i only travel to places that are more “bike friendly”

    Ed: The great thing about Yonge and Bloor streets, especially downtown, is that there are so many cars and so many people, and so many bikes… that the traffic moves slower, and the roads are quite safe.

    You always have to be careful, of course – but downtown is generally awesome to bike in, because, often, your bike is moving faster than many of the cars. :)
