“Keep Calm – Cycle On” at Rock Paper Scissors Collective
In Oakland California there is a space called “Rock Paper Scissors Collective“, an art collective for various reasons. One of those reasons was a recent show by “Jonathan Mann and The Rock Cookie Bottom Band“.
Notice behind the band a little poster board that looks like a chalk board from grade school, “Keep Calm – Cycle On”. (From perhaps World War ll Britian, Keep Calm – Carry On … digging out your family from under your detroyed house after an aerial bombardment? – yes – looked it up my intuition was right).
Good advice with all the transportation carnage now-a-days as well I think.

Below is an embed of Jonathan Mann and The Rock Cookie Bottom Band‘s great song “Wren The Polyamourous Polar Bear” (which is Number One with a bullet on my chart for this week – and maybe next week too).
Also, Jonathan Mann is doing a “Song a Day” project where he writes an original song and produces a video for it – Every Day for over TWO YEARS now (Wren is #766).
See “SONGATRON” web site.
See Filterblog’s article on this, Jonathan Mann’s “Song A Day” up to #766 !.
