BikingToronto has partnered with Abdominal and Bicycles Crossing Borders on a "Pedal Pusher" (song embedded above) BikeMonth campaign!

Abdominal's inventive rap song, "Pedal Pusher" (winner of the 2007 SOCAN Echo Prize for Song of the Year) from his 2007 album Escape from the Pigeon Hole, is all about his love of biking across the city of Toronto.

The goal of this campaign is to increase the public's awareness about the benefits of biking and the global bike movement. Biking is better for the environment, has a positive impact on people's health and the potential to bring us into closer contact with our local communities.

In order to support the work of Bicycles Crossing Borders, Abdominal will be creating a series of public service announcements that will highlight the positive social and environmental impacts that biking can have.
