It survived the earthquake, and you can see it on the <a href="http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=37.792049,-122.397923&spn=0,359.9987&t=h&z=20&layer=c&cbll=37.792049,-122.397923&panoid=LKFDLAx4zO7MKFiMIVPVfQ&cbp=12,48.9,,0,-3.92" rel="nofollow">Market Street Streetview</a>. :) I was curious about what the tower is in the background – and it’s the Ferry Building at the end of Market Street on the waterfront.

It survived the earthquake, and you can see it on the Market Street Streetview. :)
