Looking Forward to the Commute
By Joe T. | March 9, 2010
During the winter, if the roads are too snowy or it is insanely cold, I’ll take the TTC to work. I live near the subway line, so it’s not too bad a commute, really… but by the end of winter, even this occasional subway riding becomes something I dread in the morning and the afternoon.
Biking to work though puts me in a sunnier disposition, because I get to BIKE to work! And BIKE home. I look forward to the commute (yes, even going to work early in the morning). It gets my endorphins going and is a good fitness break in the day.

TTC: It can be crowded, smelly, dirty, germy, slow... and uncomfortable for people who don't like strangers in their personal space.

BIKES: Freedom, Happiness and Fresh Air.
