Hamilton Police seek Hit-and-Run SUV Driver after cyclist hit

Posted: February 4th, 2010

The Toronto Sun is reporting that the Hamilton Police are on the lookout for a black SUV (possibly a Suburban) with red markings or writing along the bottom.    The SUV hit a cyclist at Wilson and Hughson on Tuesday evening, knocking the cyclist of his bike before speeding off.

Thankfully, the injuries to the cyclist are not “life threatening”, but I’m willing to bet that the injuries *are* serious.

Police ask witnesses to call Det.-Const. Bob Blankstein, at 905-546-4755 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
