  1. Driving.ca has an interesting test of road rules. It includes some international rules as well as winter condition driving.

    Unfortunately, most of the questions don't seem to be very relevant to day-to-day city driving. And there's not a single question that has to do with encountering cyclists.

    I may be reading too much into a silly Flash test on a web site, but the refusal of authoritative driving voices to acknowledge that there are more than just cars and trucks on our roads is without a doubt in my mind part of the reason why our roads are unsafe and hostile.

    But that's just me dinging my bell of course...
