Found it. After nearly a month of scouring the web for the perfect bike for us – I’ve found it. Except, I can’t have it. This beauty is made in Portland, which is just a little farther than the TTC will take me. Sigh.

Why do I need such a contraption? Well, there’s me, and three kids to haul. And the first two weeks of going carless have taught me that we need wheels, and I like these ones.

I’m going to document the process of getting equipped for cycling in this city, as a family. Hopefully, the things that I learn along the way will help someone else do the same. Because I don’t imagine it’s going to be easy.
