Login or Register to join this event!
Public Event · Organized by City of Toronto
Date and Time
Tue, Jan 19 - 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Description
The Bicycle Friendly Business Awards are presented annually to businesses and organizations across Toronto who are making an effort to encourage their clients and employees to cycle. The winners will receive a trophy for one year, a scroll from the Mayor, and will be listed in press releases and in the 2010 nomination form.
The awards recognize that cyclists help in making Toronto a greener and healthier place to live, work, and play. Cycling conscious businesses help to reduce traffic congestion and smog in our city. All businesses that support cycling help the City to achieve one of the goals of the Toronto Bike Plan to double the number of bicycle trips made in the city by the year 2011.
For more information about the Bicycle Friendly Business Awards call 416-338-5086.
