
At Queen’s Park they’ve moved bicycle parking indoors in preparation for the impending G20 demonstrations.
Maybe we’ll see excellent bicycle parking improvements like this stick around after the weekend?
It could help reduce bicycle theft and get more people cycling!

My first impression of the beautiful photograph above was that it was the Scotia Bank Tower Lobby; and that got me thinking there are lots of spaces just like this, the lobby at City Hall – where the architecture that now says, ‘stability’, ‘power’, ‘influence’ – could be turned to serve bicycle parking, that these places might then also say ‘community’. :)
