Sweet Ride on Sunday – New Ride Details

A few details have changed about this ride, so I thought I’d update everyone with a new post.

Because our Sweet Rides are so popular… Dufflets has told us that they can not accomodate us in their small retail spaces… so we’ve gone out and arranged all new better places to stop on our ride!

We will STILL be meeting at Dufflets Uptown (2638 Yonge – about 4 blocks north of Eglinton) but then moving on from there.

Join (BikingToronto.com and the Toronto Girls Cupcake Ride) on the “Sweet Ride: Dufflet Edition” – a CO-ED ride MEETING at Dufflets Uptown and eating at bakeries and cafes in the Yonge/Eg, Leslieville and Distillery District neighbourhoods

NOTE:
This ride will primarily be on recreational trails. Time to see some nature! :)

Dufflets Uptown
2638 Yonge Street (between Eglinton and Lawrence)

First Stop:

Reminder! The Next Sweet Ride is on Sunday!

This Sunday (June 19th) myself and Hyedie are having our 2nd “Sweet Ride“. This one is based around the Dufflet chain of bakeries in Toronto (and coincides with their excellent Tour de Dufflet they have every year during BikeMonth), so it’s the “Dufflet Edition“.

(see photos from the first Sweet Ride here)

We’ll be starting out at their Uptown Store (just north of Yonge and Eglinton), travelling through the Don River Valley Trail and Martin-Goodman Trail systems to their Beach(es) Store and then taking the Martin-Goodman west to their downtown store at Queen W. and Bathurst.

Come and join us on Sunday, June 19 for fun, cupcakes and biking.

(Yes.. it slipped our minds that Day of Delight is also on June 19th.  I am hoping to stop by after the ride! )

Sweet Ride: Dufflet Edition

You may remember that back in April we had a “Sweet Ride: Cupcake Edition” … we had 21 people come out to a bike ride from the Cupcakery to Bobbette & Belle. Yes, we started with cupcakes and ended with cupcakes. You can see photos from the ride here and here and a short video here.

Now, myself and Hyedie are stepping it up a notch with our second “Sweet Ride“. This one is based around the Dufflet chain of bakeries in Toronto (and coincides with their excellent Tour de Dufflet they have every year during BikeMonth), so it’s the “Dufflet Edition“.
