Last Day to Join Cycle Toronto and Win $1700 in Prizes

This is it.  After 6+ weeks, Cycle Toronto is ending their 2012 refer-a-rider campaign tomorrow, Wed, Nov. 7th.

I’m in first place, so it looks like I’ll win the Bobbin Bike that I can then turn around and give to someone who signed up via this link.

Let’s go over the reasons why you should join (it’s only $30):

1. Help support Toronto’s biggest (only?) member-supported cycling advocacy organization, as they advocate for safer roads and more respect for cyclists on Toronto’s streets.

2. Get amazing discounts at bike stores, restaurants, clothing shops, car sharing organizations, travel, etc, etc, etc.

3. I’m giving away the Bobbin Bike I’m winning for coming first in the campaign.  It’s worth $750 and you can find more info about the actual bike on the Bobbin website.  The bike is being donated by Curbside Cycle.

4. I’ve also lined up close to $1000 in other prizes that you may win for signing up through this link:

$500 in custom Gelaskins iPhone skins (for the 4 and 4S)

$225 from Roots Canada – a $25 gift card plus fine leather goods

$200 of bike lube, cleaner and a tool roll from Orontas

A bike-themed Bespoke Pilot Bag (worth $40) from Outer Layer
