On June 6th we held our first Bike Month event, the West End Community Garden Ride. We lucked out with great weather and had a lovely bunch of cyclists join us.

Join Jennifer Bonnell, a historian of the Don Valley, to explore the rich human and natural history of one of Toronto’s great rivers. Hear the stories of its uses by Aboriginal peoples, the industrial development of the river that led to its straightening in the 1890s, and its history as a place of refuge for the homeless.

Ride your bike down and park with Bike Valet powered by ​the ​Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area at WorldPride​!​ ​Bike Valet is a free bike parking service just like a coat check for bikes! Bike Valet will open to the public an hour before the parade and will close at midnight.

The Bike Valet will be held on Dundas St. between Bay & Yonge,​in the private laneway located between Joey’s Restaurant and the Ted Rogers Management School.
