Bikes being stolen is a problem in any large city and Toronto is no exception. In the interest of trying to reunite some bike owners with their stolen rides, here are the stolen bikes posted this week on the Toronto Stolen Bikes facebook group:
Stolen my Blue Daymak (Paris Lab) electric bike from Keele and Wilson area end of August 2016 – older model, miss it every day – I have not seen this model on the streets anymore. If spotted somewhere, please let me know
This happened back in the summer but I only recently found this group. My 1996 GT Performer was stolen from one of the bike rooms in my building (distillery). All chrome, monkeylight multi coloured led on the front wheel. Seatpost is black and straight now, no pegs.
My 22″ Salsa Fargo was taken from my front porch in Little Italy a few nights ago. And a friend who lives a block away had his bike stolen the next night.
Watch out, Little Italy residents — a thief is on the prowl.
Hey TO bike friends, my buddy Dmitry’s bike was lifted from behind 401 Richmond last night after midnight (literally – turns out the rack wasn’t bolted to the ground).
Stolen from King Edward Public School Bathurst and College. Orange Pedals GT BMX bike with seat with skull and cross bones.
Taken from bike rack (was locked) out front of beer store at Dufferin Mall. No name frame. No real labels or markings on it. I don’t even have a picture of the whole bike itself.
Stolen last week in the west end. Older Norco mountain bike w/ slicks. Bright blue frame / yellow accents. Since added a large vintage chrome crankset and black front rim.
