A 45-year-old male cyclist has been airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre from Brampton after he was struck by a van Sunday afternoon.
The cyclist was riding westbound on Steeles Ave., between Hwy. 50 and Finch Ave., around 2 p.m. when he was struck by the vehicle heading in the same direction.
His injuries are life-threatening, said Const. Fiona Thivierge of Peel Regional Police.
