EVENT: Sat, May 31 – Cycling safety & maintenance workshop at Danforth/Coxwell Library

Saturday, May 31, 2014 – 12:0014:00

Haven’t been on a bike since you were nine? Thinking about riding to work, school, or the grocery store? Our FREE interactive Street Smarts workshop covers the reasons to ride, road rules for both drivers and cyclists, safe riding tips and techniques, and basic bike maintenance. We also provide copies of our Toronto Cyclists Handbook and Toronto bike maps! If you like, bring your bike to follow along with the section on basic bike maintenance, which focuses on day-to-day care.

On May 31, our Street Smarts workshop runs from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Danforth/Coxwell Library. Please register with the library by calling 416-393-7783. Please note that this is not a drop-in clinic. We cannot offer advice on fixing your bike if it’s broken, and we cannot do any repairs for you during this workshop.
