Cyclists brave the stormy weather at the 26th annual Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Becel Ride for Heart on Sunday. An estimated 13,000 cyclists showed up for the 75-kilometre ride along the closed off Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway. Organizers say that participants raised an estimated $5.5-million for heart and stroke research, making 2013 their best effort.
