Residents of the CityPlace condo development are angry after a brand new footbridge that links their building with the downtown core was ordered closed by the city.
The bridge spans the railway tracks, offering residents an easy and scenic route to Front Street.
Residents were excited to see the bridge open last week but soon afterward the city ordered it closed, citing “deficiencies” discovered during an inspection.
