Two Ward 21 Events This Coming Sunday

Two great events are coming up this Sunday in Ward 21!
Bike Rodeo Festival – Sunday June 26th 1-3pm – Artscape Wychwood Barns
  • Children ages 8-13 can take part in fun stations to learn cycling safety skills
  • Bike-part mobile making and bike decorating for siblings and participants will also be offered
  • The event is free and will take place rain or shine
  • Volunteer assistance is still needed to run the event (and help set up and clean up).  If you can volunteer, please contact Beth at Concillor Mihevc’s community office: 416-392-7460.
Ward 21 Check-Up Bike Ride – Sunday June 26th 4:30-6pm – Meet at Christie & Benson
Toronto Cyclists Union Ward Captains from around Toronto will be hosting an audit ride of their wards to assess the challenges, limitations, and opportunities we face while cycling along the roads and paths in our wards.
  • Everyone is welcome to attend
  • The ride will start and finish at the north-west corner of the Wychwood Barns (Christie & Benson). Route map and additional information can be emailed upon request.
  • We will end our ride at a local ice-cream shop!
  • Please RSVP to ward21@bikeunion.to to confirm your attendance. The first person to RSVP will get a free ice cream! ;)
