The History Pics blog by BikingToronto member Lock is extremely interesting. He posts photos of electric bicycles (and diagrams of them) originating often more than 100 years ago. Goes to show “E-Bike” technology has been here a long time.

Tks Joe… I know some folks in the pedal bike community are not “excited” about seeing electric bikes around these daze, and in truth I am not a big fan of the scooter-style ebikes, but where any trips on four wheels can be replaced by two-wheels I think they’re a fair trade. Anything to flood our streets with two-wheeled traffic! The 20th-century motorized carriage needs to DIE DIE DIE!
