Toronto Cycling Committee Meeting

  • The Toronto Cycling Committee is designed to advise City Council and its departments, agencies, boards, and commissions, on the design, development and delivery of bicycle policies, programs and facilities to promote and enhance cycling within the City of Toronto.

  • All are welcome – only Board members can vote, but members are welcome to bring input and get involved on committees.

Open House – Gatineau Hydro Corridor

  • Tues, Apr. 13
  • 6:30 – 8:30 PM
  • Scarborough Civic Centre, Council Chambers, 150 Borough Dr. (map)
  • The public is invited to attend an open house to learn more about new multi use paths planned for the Finch Hydro Corridor. These paths will be part of Toronto’s Bikeway Network.

TBN Wednesday Wheelie Ride

  • Various start points (see website for details)
  • The nature of the Wednesday day rides known as the “Wednesday Wheelies” might be the best-kept secret in the TBN. Wednesday Wheelies are social, tourist-level rides that cover routes similar to the popular Country Cruises, but which have the glorious advantage of roads, often busy with traffic on a Sunday, being nearly deserted mid-week. Good quality maps are provided in the format also in use on the Sunday Country Cruise.

  • Bike Pirates invites you to join us for a ride through the laneways and alleys of Downtown Toronto! We had lots of fun last year – and no flat tires – so we are excited to go out again, and to explore new spaces we may not have seen before.
