Updates to the Toronto BikeShop Map

Just a quick post to let you know I just updated the Toronto BikeShop Map.

I made the BikeShop Map 4 years ago because whenever I was in a part of the city I wasn’t very familiar with, I never knew if I was near a bikeshop. It’s easy enough to google “Toronto Bikeshops” and see what pops up… but a comprehensive online map did not exist.

To my knowledge, it is still the only map with plots this info, for you, the Toronto cyclist.

Here are the updates I just made:

The Bike Clinic just changed locations. It is now at 800 Bloor St. W., on the corner of Bloor and Crawford (just west of Christie Pits).
Added Hoopdriver Bicycles to the map. They are at 1073 College, just east of Dufferin.
Added Bateman’s Bicycle Company. It’s at 29 Barton Ave, just off Bathurst, north of Bloor. (thanks to Duncan for the update)
Added EnduroSport‘s Outlet at 33 Coldwater Rd (near York Mills & Leslie) and deleted their closed Beaches store (thanks to Endurosport for the update)

If you see any mistakes or omissions, let me know in the comments below, and we’ll get those fixed up!

Just Googled after commenting… sounds like Uncle Jacob’s been around for some time and it’s hard to find anything nice about the place.

Years ago when I made the map originally, I wasn’t sure where Jacob’s was.

Now that I know, I have mixed feelings about listing it on the map, as it is well known as a place Stolen Bikes go.

Of course, it may be good to list it with the info that it’s a good place to look if your bike gets stolen…
