TBN Bloordale and Mimico Creek Ride

Explore the western edge of the city with TBN via two long ravines with a bit of street riding. 19km. Pace is leasure wheeler. Helmets Mandatory.

Advance your skills with other bicycle commuters and recreational riders who already ride in traffic. Course includes Highway Traffic Act sessions, bike-handling skills, classroom discussion and lots of riding in challenging conditions.

Toronto Island Tour of Trees is an evening of leisurely bike riding (up to 8 km). The focus is on the magnificent Toronto Island trees. Industry experts and Tree entusiasts alike will select specific trees along the route and speak to their qualities and value to our urban landscape.

Midweek’s Tuesday Elite Race Series enables you to learn, try and practice road bike racing in a competitive environment. The races are fast-paced and often have large field sizes and are not suitable for a first-time-in-a-pack racer. Therefore, we require all participants to have at least some racing experience.

Join the Outing Club of East York for a Tuesday Night cycle ride exploring the Leaside neighbourhood and teh Don Valley. Distance approximately 25-km. Bicycle helemets mandatory.

TBN’s Wednesday Wheelie Ride

The nature of the Wednesday day rides known as the “Wednesday Wheelies” might be the best-kept secret in the TBN. Wednesday Wheelies are social, tourist-level rides that cover routes similar to the popular Country Cruises, but which have the glorious advantage of roads, often busy with traffic on a Sunday, being nearly deserted mid-week.

This fun program is for males and females aged 9 to 14. In a fun-filled, self- confidence building environment Mideweek’s Youth Club will encourage kids to have fun on their bikes while teaching safety, bike handling, bike mechanics and grass track racing.

The Cycle for Sight ultimately promises to be a catalyst for personal fitness, new friendships and overall goodwill. Our Mission is to bring the cycling world and the vision impaired community together for one important cause.

8:30am-12:30pm

Bike safety course for kids aged 9-13. In-class and on-bike instruction teaches rules of the road, right and left turns, changing gears and identifying/avoiding potential hazards. Course runs over 3 consecutive Saturdays.

9am-3:30pm

Improve your confidence cycling on bike paths and residential streets. Learn traffic theory and ride with a group in low-traffic neighbourhoods.
Course runs over two consecutive Saturdays.

9:30am-3:30pm

A cycling safety course for women taught by women. Addresses specific concerns, such as riding at night, riding with children and other topics of interest to women.
Big Wheel Bike Club
11am-3pm
Big Wheel Bike Club is a downtown cycling club that meets every Saturday at 11am at the Amsterdam Brewery. The club is free to join, Just show up on any Saturday with valid government issued identification. Members must be 19 years or older.

Weekly Speakers: Top brand reps, Stretch workshops, Broil King BBQ workshops, Nutritionists etc… Complimentary apres ride sampling and Broil king BBQ on Saturday’s 1-3pm

Join TBN for a leisurely-paced, five-star ride westward from the Humber along the Waterfront Trail. We’ll cover 48 km as we tour a couple of parks and the Humber College campus, picnic in Douglas Kennedy Park, and then continue another 3 km to Port Credit. Helmets mandatory.
