Riding the Waterfront

Although Saturday was somewhat wet and rainy, I still needed to get out there for a long ride after a long winter. I decided to see if I could get to the Etobicoke/Mississauga border via the waterfront Martin-Goodman trail from the Coxwell/Lakeshore area.

I’ve embedded a slideshow below… I took photos every 10 minutes to document the trip. You can read some description of the photos in the Flickr photoset.

To us western Toronto dwellers, Port Credit makes a great destination. They have some neat restaurants and cafes, ad a pretty good (if seriously upscale) bike shop.

Hey man, any way you can post your route in Etobicoke on GE, or make a kmz? Once I hit the Trudeau Bridge (that white bridge, which was designed on an 8100/88 MHz Mac using Archicad, btw), it is almost the end of the line. I don’t know if there is anything west of there, so I’m interested to find out.

    Cheers
