Biking Toronto Member, Bikeroo, and leckyf suggested some changes to this route. This ‘Redux’ gets around TTC infrastructure along St. Clair near Bathurst and finds a new route to Heath St.

Thanks to Biking Toronto member “Dawn”, for making this map. :)
Dawn asked me if there was a commute route that avoids King St. through the core. My solution is a map via Queen’s Quay.

Dawn is the first cyclist (besides me) to create a map for the Bicycle Route Mapping Wiki Project. Thanks Dawn!

Dawn a Biking Toronto member asked me to make a map that would avoid King St. through the core (see her map), because it is really dangerous most times of the day – especially at the rush hours when she commutes to work.
This is my solution, it adds 1.6 km to the commute but as soon as your at the bottom of Sherbourne St. you can smell the lake and feel the waves; the air is clean and it’s a good way to start your day – very relaxing. It’s a good way to end your day as well – you can stop for a coffee at Tim Horton’s at 207 Queen’s Quay West at the foot of York St., sit at the Ferry Docks and watch yur ship come in ;). It’s beautiful down there. :)
